This matter is taken up through Hybrid Mode.

Heard learned counsel for the parties.

The writ petition has been filed seeking promotion retrospectively to the post of Line Man "C" from September, 1984 and further pramotions.

By order dated 17.12.2013 on the prayer of the petitioner, this Court granted leave to amend the writ petition. On 6.04.2015 the matter was dismissed for nonprosecution and was restored by order dated 9.11.2015.

There is no appearance on behalf of the petitioner when the matter is called.

On perusal of the records it is seen that the relief claimed has been rendered infructuous with efflux of time.

7.

The writ petition is disposed of as infructuous giving liberty to the petitioner to renew his prayer if any cause of action subsists.
