Heard learned counsel for Petitioner and learned counsel for the State-Opposite Parties.

The present Writ Petition has been filed with the following prayer:- "(i) This Hon'ble Court may graciously be pleased to issue a Rule Nisi in the nature of Writ of Mandamus and / or direction and / or Orders calling upon the Opp. Parties, particularly O.P. No.2 to show cause As to why they shall not be commanded to consider and dispose of the representation dated 09.10.2021 of the petitioner under Annexure-8, for regularization of his service and / or absorbing in the work-charged establishment in the establishment of opp. party no.3 in the light of the decisions of the Hon'ble Apex Court in the case of Secretary, State of Karnataka & Others vrs. Umadevi & Others (2006) 4 SCC 1, State of Karnataka vrs. M.L. Kesari (2010) 9 SCC 247 and Amarkant Rai v. State of Bihar (2015) 8 SCC 265 and so also similar directions issued by this Hon'ble Court in the Judgment dated 19.09.2014 in OJC No.15560 of 1998 and in the case bearing OJC No.13023 of 1998 as referred

// 2 // to under Annexures-9 and 10 above, by taking into account his long period of service for more than 26 years, within a particular time".

He further submits that through highlighting his grievances, the petitioner has filed a representation on 09.10.2021 at Annexure-8 to the Writ Petition, before the opposite party No.2 but till date nothing has been done in the matter. In such background, he prays that a direction be issued to opposite party No.2 to take a decision on the above noted petition within a specific time period. 5.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs opposite party No.2 to take a decision on the above noted petition in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of production of certified copy of this order and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner.

6. With the aforesaid observation and direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of.
