01. 1. This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement Order No (Virtual/Physical) Mode.
2. Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and learned counsel for the Opposite Parties.
3. The Petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition with the following prayer:- "Under the facts and circumstances, it is therefore humbly prayed that the Hon'ble Court may graciously be pleased to issue a rule Nisi calling upon the Opp. Parties to show cause as to why writ in the nature of Mandamus shall not be issued restraining the Opp. Parties to engage any other person on temporary basis with further direction to allow the Petitioner to continue as Watchman -Cum- Sweeper in the office of the Opp. Party No. 3 till the post is filled up in regular basis.
If, the Opp. Parties failed show cause or show insufficient cause, rule may be made absolute. And further be pleased to pass any other order(s) as deemed fit and proper in the interest of justice.
And for this act of kindness the Petitioners as in duty bound shall ever pray."

4. Learned counsel for the Petitioner further submits that through highlighting his grievances, the petitioner has filed a representation at Annexure-10 to the Writ Petition before the O.P. No.2, but till date nothing has been done in the matter. In such background, learned counsel for the Petitioner prays that a direction be issued to Opposite Party No.2 to take a decision on the above noted petition within a specific time period.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs Opposite Party No.2 to take a decision on the above noted petition in accordance with law within a period of one month from today and till such a decision is taken, no appointment shall be made pursuant to Annexure-9.
