Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned counsel for the State.

The petitioners are accused in connection with Chandrapur P.S. Case No. 8 of 2009 corresponding to C.T. Case No. 46 of 2021, pending on the file of the learned Addl. Sessions Judge, Gunupur for commission of the alleged offence under Sections 147/148/302/20-B/121-A/149 of the I.P.C. read with Sections 16/18/20 of Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967.

Being aggrieved by the rejection of their application for bail U/s 439 Cr.P.C. by the learned Addl. Sessions Judge,
Gunupur (Circuit at Bissamcuttack) by order dated 18.05.2022, the present BLAPL has been filed. 5.
It is submitted by the learned counsel for the State that on the basis of instruction relating to the co-accused, this Court by order dated 26.10.2021 in BLAPL No. 3465 of 2021 had directed that the trial to be expedited.

Taking note of criminal proclivity of the petitioners, this Court is not inclined to entertain this bail application at this stage.

Accordingly, the BLAPL stands rejected.

In terms of the earlier order of this Court referred to hereinabove, trial be expedited.
