The petitioner is aggrieved by the selection of opposite party no.5 as Anganwadi Worker in Bauligarh Anganwadi Center on the ground she is not a resident of service area in which the Anganwadi Center is situated. The petitioner claims to be a resident of said service area and therefore, contends that she should be appointed in place of opposite party no.5.

Since a statutory remedy is provided for redressal of such grievance by way of appeal before the learned Additional District Magistrate of the concerned district, the writ petition is disposed of granting liberty to the petitioner to prefer an appeal before the concerned appellate authority within a period of two weeks. In the event such an appeal is preferred, the same shall be disposed of in accordance with law within a period of four weeks thereafter. 4.

Issue urgent certified copy as per rules.
