Heard Mr. Lalit Sahu, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. D.K.Mohanty, learned Additional Standing Counsel. 2.
According to Mr. Sahu, the grievance of the petitioner is that though after acquisition of his land compensation has been paid, but till date, he has not been extended the benefits under the Rehabilitation & Resettlement Police, 2006 as his name has not been included in the list of displaced family. During course of hearing, he submits that liberty may be granted to the petitioner to approach the Project Director, Lower Suktel Irrigation Project, Balangir (opposite party no.5) by filing a representation for redressal of his grievances and further prays that the said opposite party be directed to take a decision on such representation within a stipulated time period.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court
// 2 // grants liberty to the petitioner to approach the opposite party no.5 by filing a representation along with a certified copy of this order through Registered Post within a period of two weeks. In the event, such an application is filed before opposite party no.5, he/she is directed to take a decision on the same in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of receiving of such representation and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner. 4.
The writ application is accordingly disposed of. 5.
Issue urgent certified copy as per rules.
