This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual/Physical Mode).

This is an application under Section 439 Cr.P.C. filed by the Petitioners for bail in connection with Handapa P.S. Case No.06 of 2021, corresponding to C.T.(S) No.11 of 2021 pending in the file of learned Additional Sessions Judge, Athmallik, for commission of alleged offences under Sections 302/34 I.P.C. 3.

Heard learned counsel for both the parties. Perused the Case Diary.

Considering the nature and gravity of offences alleged against the Petitioners, this Court is not inclined to release the Petitioners on bail. Accordingly, the bail application of the Petitioners stands rejected. However, this Court directs the trial court to make an endeavor to expedite the trial of the case and conclude the same preferably within a period of six months from the date of

// 2 // this order. Liberty is also granted to the Petitioner to renew his prayer in the event the trial of the case is not completed within the stipulated time.
