Heard Mr.P.K.Mahapatra, learned counsel for Petitioner and Mr. A.P.Das, learned Addl. Standing Counsel for the StateOpposite Parties. 3.
The present Writ Petition has been filed with the following prayer:- "
In view of the aforesaid facts and circumstances as narrated above, it is prayed that this Hon'ble Court be graciously be pleased to admit the Writ Petition and issue Rule Nisi for any other appropriate Writs against the Opp. Parties calling upon the opposite parties to show cause as to why Annexure-8 shall not be quashed and they shall not be directed to sanction Final Pension, Gratuity and Unutilized Leave Salary of the Petitioner and to disburse the same with interest;
And if the Opp. Parties failed to show cause or show insufficient cause, make the said rule absolute by quashing Annexure-8 and directing the Opposite Parties to sanction final Pension, Gratuity and Unutilized Leave Salary of the petitioner and disburse the same with interest". 4.
Learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that vide order dated 24.12.2021 under Annexure-8, the Petitioner was
// 2 // sanctioned with provisional pension and Opposite party No.2 was directed to submit his pension papers. It is submitted that the pension papers of the petitioner though have been so forwarded to Opposite Party No.2 under Annexure-9 since 28.06.2022, no further action is being taken by the said Opposite Party No.2 on the same.

Since the matter relates to sanction of pension and pensionary benefits, this Court directs the Opposite Party No.2 to forward the pension papers so forwarded to him under Annexure-9, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of this order. It is further observed that Opposite Party No.5 on receipt of the said pension papers will take effective steps and sanction the pension and pensionary benefits within a further period of two months from the date of receipt of the pension papers.

With the aforesaid observation and direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of.
