Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for State.

The petitioner is an accused in Mathili P.S. Case No.98 of 2020 arising out of T.R. Case No.67 of 2020, pending in the Court of learned Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Malkangiri, Under Section 20(b)(ii)(C) of NDPS Act.

Being aggrieved by the rejection of his application for bail U/s.439 Cr.P.C. by the learned Special Judge, Malkangiri, by order dated 12.07.2022 in the aforementioned case, the present BLAPL has been filed and the petitioner is in custody since 11.07.2022. 5.
Perused the order of rejection which indicates that trial has already commenced, this Court is not inclined to entertain this bail application at this stage.

Accordingly the BLAPL stands rejected.
