This matter is taken up by virtual/physical mode. 1.

With a prayer to direct the Bank to allow the Petitioner to sell his mortgaged property and also dispose of his representation dated 14th April, 2021 vide Annexure-3, the Petitioner filed the writ petition. Due to financial indiscipline in repaying the loan availed for an amount of Rs.6.00 lakhs, the Opposite Parties-UCO Bank, Jamsuli Branch, having Regional Office at Balasore issued a demand notice under Section 13(2) of the SARFAESI Act, 2002 on 26th April, 2017, recalling an amount of Rs.22,48,561/- as on 31st March, 2017 besides interest and expenses.

The Petitioner approached the Bank for permission to sell his property for enabling him to liquidate the outstanding loan amount.

At the time of hearing today, Ms. Basumati Pradhan, Advocate appearing on behalf of Mr. Amitav Dash, counsel for the Petitioner submitted that settlement amount has been sanctioned by the Bank and the loan amount has been liquidated, hence the petitioner does not want to press the writ petition. Accordingly, she sought for permission to withdraw the writ petition. 4.

In view of such submission, the writ petition stands disposed of as withdrawn.
