1. This matter is taken up through Video Conferencing mode.
2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Additional Government Advocate for the State.
3. In this CRLMC, the petitioners have prayed for a direction to the learned Additional District and Sessions Judge, Balliguda for expeditious disposal of S.T. Case No.37 of 2015, arising out of Balliguda P.S. Case No.143 of 2014.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the husband of the deceased has passed away on 09.02.2018, who was an accused along with the present petitioners in this case, and the case is pending before the learned Additional District and Sessions Judge, Balliguda since the year 2015. In view of such delay in completion of trial, the petitioners pray for expeditious disposal of the aforesaid case.
5. Considering the facts and submissions made, especially the fact that since the year 2015, the trial is yet to be completed, the learned Additional District and Sessions Judge, Balliguda is directed to complete the trial in S.T. Case No.37 of 2015,
// 2 // arising out of Balliguda P.S. Case No.143 of 2014, within a period of three months from today, if there is no other legal impediment.
6. With the above observations, this CRLMC is disposed of.
7. As the restrictions due to resurgence of Covid-19 are continuing, learned counsel for the parties may utilize a printout of the order available in the High Court's website, at par with certified copy, subject to attestation by the Advocate concerned with his/her seal, in the manner prescribed vide Court's Notice No.4587 dated 25th March, 2020 and Court's Office Order dated 7th January, 2022.
