Heard learned counsel for the Parties.

The Writ Petition has been filed with the following prayer:- "(i) It is therefore, prayed that Your Lordships may be graciously pleased to issue notice to the opposite parties calling upon them to show cause as to why the prayer made in this application by the petitioner for payment of arrear differential unutilized leave salary and differential Dearness Allowance relating to Revised Scale of Pay Rules, 1998 along with all connected dues will not be allowed and if the opposite parties fail to show cause or show insufficient cause your Lordship may be pleased to pass order / direction to pay such differential amount of dues to other petitioner within a reasonable period or may be pleased to pass order to dispose of the representation dated 02.06.2022 vide Annexure-4 favorably within a time bound period".

He further submits that through highlighting his grievances, the petitioner has filed a representation on 02.06.2022 under Annexure-4 to the Writ
// 2 // Petition before the opposite party No.2 but till date nothing has been done in the matter. In such background, he prays that a direction be issued to opposite party no.2 to take a decision on the above noted petition within a specific time period.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs opposite party No.2 to take a decision on the above noted petition in accordance with law within a period of one month from the date of production of certified copy of this order and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner.
