Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and learned counsel for the Opposite Parties.

The Petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition with the following prayer:- "Direct the opp. parties calling upon them to show cause as to why the prayer made in this application by the petitioner for payment of arrear differential unutilized leave salary and differential Dearness Allowance relating to Revised Scale of Pay Rules, 1998 along with all connected dues will not be allowed and if the opposite parties fail to show cause or show insufficient cause your Lordship may be pleased to pass order/direction to pay such differential amount of dues to the petitioner within a reasonable period or may be pleased to pass order to dispose of the representation dated 2.6.2022 under Annexure-4 favourably within a time bound period. 4.

Learned counsel for the Petitioner further submits that through highlighting her grievances, the petitioner has filed a representation at Annexure-4 to the Writ Petition before the O.P. No.2, but till date nothing has been done in the matter. In such background, he prays that a direction be issued to Opposite Party

// 2 // No.2 to take a decision on the above noted petition within a specific time period.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs Opposite Party No.2 to take a decision on the above noted petition in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of receipt of this order and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner.
