This matter is taken up through Hybrid Mode.

Heard learned counsel for the parties.

The petitioner is an accused in connection with Spl. G.R. Case No. 73 of 2016 arising out of Kujang P.S. Case No. 202 of 2016 on the file of learned Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Jagatsinghpur, registered for the alleged commission of offence under Sections 376(2)(1)/313/506 I.P.C and Section 6 of the POCSO Act.

Being aggrieved by the rejection of his application for bail under Section 439 Cr.P.C. by the learned Sessions Judgecum-Special Judge, Jagatsinghpur, by order dated 19.08.2020, the present BLAPL has been filed.

Perused the status report of the learned Adhoc Addl. District & Sessions Judge (FTSC, POCSO), Jagatsinghpur stating

inter alia, the trial is likely to be concluded by the end of July, 2022.

Taking note of such submission, this Court is not inclined to entertain the bail application at this stage. It shall be open to the petitioner to renew his prayer, if the trial is not concluded by the end of July, 2022 and delay is not attributable to the petitioner. 7.

The BLAPL is accordingly disposed of.
