1. This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.
2. Mr. Padhi, learned counsel has appeared for the petitioner. It appears that he has not received any instruction from the petitioner. From the status report, submitted by the OIC, Singla P.S., Balasore, it transpires that the victim girl, whose name is withheld by us for protecting her identity, has been rescued from Ramnagar Police Station area. Even the person who kidnapped/abducted her has been apprehended. The victim girl has been sent from recording her statement U/s. 164 of the Cr.P.C. by the J.M.F.C, Basta and also for medical examination at FMMCH, Balasore along with her mother, the petitioner herein.
3. In view of the above disclosure in the status report as submitted by Mr. S.S. Kanungo, learned Addl. Govt. Advocate appearing for the State, this proceeding has become infructuous.

4. Accordingly, the writ petition stands closed and disposed of.
5. A copy of the status report, as produced before us, is made part of the record.
