1. Heard Mr. B.P. Pradhan, learned counsel for the Petitioner as well as Mr. B. Panigrahi, learned Additional Standing Counsel for the State-Opposite Party.

2. It is submitted by Mr. B.P. Pradhan, learned counsel for the Petitioner that the mutation appeal filed by the Petitioner is pending before the Sub-Collector, Berhampur and the purpose would be served if a direction to dispose of the same within a stipulated period be issued to the Sub-Collector, Berhampur.

3. After hearing Mr. B. Panigrahi, learned A.S.C. for the StateOpposite Party, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the Sub-Collector, Berhampur, Ganjam, Opposite Party No.2 to dispose of Mutation Appeal No.50/2022 in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of production of a copy of this order, if no other legal impediment is there. It is

made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on merits of the case.

4. An urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
