Heard Mr. J. Biswal, learned counsel for the petitioners and Mr. D.K. Mohanty, learned Additional Standing Counsel. 2.
On oral prayer of Mr. Biswal, this CRLMP is confined to Petitioner Nos. 3, 11, 38, 98, 108, 109 and 111 and so far as rest of the petitioners are concerned, they are permitted to file fresh CRLMP petitions.

According to Mr. Biswal, petitioners Nos. 3, 11, 38, 98, 108, 109 and 111 were agents and franchise owners of Sahara Credit Cooperative Society Limited, Lucknow. He further submits that due to ongoing inquiry and investigation against the various functionaries of Sahara group, the above noted petitioners have been harassed by the police authorities by calling them repeatedly to visit the police station.

Mr. D.K. Mohanty, learned Additional Standing Counsel submits that for redressal of such grievances, the petitioners should have approached the Deputy Commissioner of Police, (Hqrs.),
Bhubaneswar-Cuttack (Opposite Party No.6) instead of rushing to this Court, if they feel that their life, liberty and dignity are at jeopardy.

In such background, Mr. Biswal, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that liberty may be granted to the above noted petitioners to file grievance petitions before the Opposite Party No.6 and the said Opposite Party be directed to look into such grievances of the petitioners.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court grants liberty to the above noted petitioners to file grievance petitions before the Opposite Party No.6. In the event, such grievance petitions are filed, this Court hopes and trusts that the Opposite Party No.6 would look into the matter and take appropriate steps in accordance with law.

With the aforesaid observation, the CRLMP stands disposed of.
