This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

Heard learned counsel for the parties.

The Petitioner in the present writ application had assailed the alleged inaction of the authorities under Employees' Provident Funds and Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1952 relating to extending the benefits under Employees' Pension Scheme to the Petitioner by accepting the option said to have been exercised by the Petitioner.

Learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that petitioner ventilating his grievance has made a representation to the Regional Provident Fund Commissioner, Odisha (O.P.No.1) on 27.08.2015 and the same is yet to be disposed of. 4.
A counter has been filed by the Regional Provident Fund organization, wherein it has been stated inter alia that the matter has been referred to the Head of the Employees Provident Fund Organization at New Delhi, seeking clarification.

Taking into account the limited nature of grievance, this Court directs the Opposite Party No. 1 to communicate the decision vis-à-vis Annexure-3 (representation) to the Petitioner within four weeks from the date of receipt/production of certified copy of this order.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. 7.
