This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

The Petitioner in this writ petition prays for a direction to quash and set aside the proceeding initiated vide U.C. Case No. 34 of 2021 pending before the Deputy Commissioner, Cuttack Municipal Corporation, Cuttack.

On perusal of the record, it appears that pursuant to the notice issued by the Cuttack Municipal Corporation, the Petitioner has already entered appearance and filed his show cause, which is apparent from the grievance petition under Annexure-8 submitted to the Commissioner, Cuttack Municipal Corporation on 20th July, 2022.

In view of the fact that the Petitioner has already entered appearance and contesting the U.C. Case, this Court is not inclined to entertain the writ petition at this stage. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of with an observation that it is open to the

// 2 // Petitioner to participate in the U.C. Case before the authority by filing his show cause, if so advised.
