Despite sufficiency of notice, there is no appearance from the side of the informant. The criminal appeal is taken up for hearing.

Heard learned counsel for the appellant and learned Addl. Standing Counsel for the State.

Considering the statement of the victim, who is a major girl aged about 25 years, that she was in love relationship with the appellant for about 4 years prior to the occurrence, I do not find any justified reason to detain the appellant any longer. 5.
The criminal appeal in therefore allowed. Let the appellant be released on bail on such terms and conditions as the court in seisin over the matter may deem fit and proper to impose.
