Heard learned counsel for Petitioners and learned counsel for the State-Opposite Parties.

The present Writ Petition has been filed with the following prayer:- " In the above facts and circumstances of the case the humble petitioners fervently pray this Hon'ble Court to graciously be pleased to admit the case call for the records from the opposite parties and after hearing the counsels for both the parties issue a writ in the nature of mandamus commanding the opp. party nos.1 to take immediate action for payment of their individual EPF dues like EPF, EPF pension & other benefits with interest & penal interest for any delayed payment within a specific reasonable time as deem fit and proper by this Hon'ble Court".

Learned counsel for the Petitioners submits that through highlighting their grievances, the Petitioners have filed a representation at Annexure-11 to the Writ Petition, before the opposite party No.1 but till date nothing has been done in the matter. In such background, he prays that a direction be issued to opposite party No.1 to take

// 2 // a decision on the above noted petition within a specific time period.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs opposite party No.1 to take a decision on the above noted petition within a period of three months from the date of production of certified copy of this order and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioners. 6.

With the aforesaid observation and direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of.
