Mr. Mishra, learned advocate appears on behalf of petitioner and submits, relief claimed by his client is for compensation on atrocity committed. Compensation prayed for is Rs.2,00,000/-. 2.

Mr. Mohanty, learned advocate, Additional Government Advocate appears on behalf of State and submits, by letter dated 14th February, 2022, Collector, Cuttack instructed Additional Government Advocate that monetary relief amounting to Rs.50,000/-, at first stage out of recommended amount of Rs.2,00,000/-, was given by sanction order no.24906 dated 24th December, 2021 of Government of Odisha Scheduled Tribes and Scheduled Castes Development, Minorities and Backward Classes Welfare Department. Said office has further

// 2 // proposed monetary relief amounting to Rs.1,00,000/- by office letter no.365/DW, dated 11th February, 2022 through Public Finance Management System.

Mr. Mishra submits, there be direction for disbursement of the recommended amount within four weeks from date and also the balance.

State is directed to disburse, through concerned opposite party, the further proposed monetary amount of Rs.1,00,000/-, to petitioner, within four weeks from date. State will consider whether there should be further proposal of balance 25% of the amount. Petitioner should be informed on the proposal, also within four weeks from date. 5.

The writ petition is disposed of.
