Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

The petitioner is an accused in connection with T.R. Case No.78 of 2021, pending in the Court of the learned Additional Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Koraput, arising out of Machhkund P.S. Case No.83 of 2021, for alleged commission of offences under Section 20(b)(ii)(C) of NDPS Act. 3.

Being aggrieved by the rejection of his application for bail U/s.439 Cr.P.C. by the learned Additional Sessions Judge-cumSpecial Judge, Koraput, by order dated 19.05.2022 in the aforementioned case, the present BLAPL has been filed. 4.

Since the petitioner is in custody form 26.09.2021, learned court in seisin is called upon to expedite the trial and conclude the same preferably within a period of four months from the date of receipt/production of the copy of this order.

In the event trial is not concluded within the time stipulated, it shall be open to the petitioner to renew his prayer before the learned Court in seisin, which shall be considered on its own merits.

Accordingly, the BLAPL stands disposed of.
