Heard Mr. M. Agarwal, learned counsel for Petitioner and Mr. R.N.Mishra, learned Addl. Government Advocate for the State-Opposite Parties.

The present Writ Petition has been filed with the following prayer:- "(i) Direct the Opposite Party to consider and dispose of the representation dtd. 23.05.2022 (Annexure-4) of the Petitioner with respect to entitlement of the Petitioner for payment of gratuity, by a reasoned order within a period of four weeks and communicate the same to the petitioner"

He further submits that through highlighting his grievances, the petitioner has filed a representation on 23.05.2022 at Annexure-4 to the Writ Petition, before the opposite party but till date nothing has been done in the matter. In such background, he prays that a direction be issued to opposite party to take a decision on the above noted petition within a specific time period. 5.

Considering the submissions made and without

// 2 // expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs opposite party to take a decision on the above noted petition in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of production of certified copy of this order and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner.

6. With the aforesaid observation and direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of.
