This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual /Physical Mode).

Heard learned counsel for the Petitioners and learned Additional Standing Counsel for the State.

This is an application under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail to the Petitioner in connection with Dhaulia P.S. Case No.158 of 2022 corresponding to C.T.Case No.4524 of 2022 pending in the Court of the learned S.D.J.M., Bhubaneswar for alleged commission of offences under Sections 186, 332, 294, 506, 341/34 of the Indian Penal Code read with Section 184(B) of Motor Vehicle Act, 1988 (Amendment 2015).

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the Petitioners that
// 2 // the Petitioner No.1 is a lady and she is serving as a Teacher in Buxi Jagabandhu English Medium School and Petitioner No.2, who is an old man suffering from different old age diseases, is the father of the Petitioner No.1. The F.I.R. and the statements of the witnesses do not make out a prima facie case against the Petitioners. 5.
Considering the submissions made and the materials placed before the Court, it is directed that in the event of arrest of the Petitioners by the Arresting Officer in the aforesaid case, the Petitioners shall be released on bail on such terms and conditions as deemed just and proper by the Arresting Officer. 6.
The ABLAPL is accordingly disposed of.
