The present contempt has arisen out of the alleged violation of the order dated 23rd August, 2016 passed in the appeal, whereby the suspension order dated 13th January, 2015 passed by the Collector, Kendrapara (approved by the Deputy Secretary to Government- O.P. No.3) suspending the petitioner from the office of Jambu Grama Panchayat was quashed.

3. At the time of hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner very fairly states that the tenure period of five (5) years the Gram Panchayat having expired, nothing survives in the present contempt.
