This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual /Physical Mode).

Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and learned Addl. Standing Counsel for the State.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the Petitioner that the Petitioner has not been named in the F.I.R. He further submits that the Petitioner is a minor boy aged 13 years and he is no way involved in this case.

This Court is of the opinion that the Petitioner being a minor, even if his involvement in the present case is found, then also he required to be produced before the Juvenile Justice Board in view of the provisions contained in Juvenile Justice Act. He is also entitled to the benefits of Section 12 of the Act.

In such view of the matter, this Court finds no reason of apprehension of arrest of the Petitioner by police.
