This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

The petitioner is accused in 2(a)CC Case No.106 of 2022 corresponding to Kantamal Excise Station P.R. No.37 of 2022-23, pending in the Court of learned J.M.F.C., Kantamal, under Section 52(a)(i) Orissa Excise Act, 2008.

Being aggrieved by the Rejection of his application for bail U/s.439 Cr.P.C. by the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Kantamal, by order dated 06.08.2022 in the aforementioned case, the present BLAPL has been filed.

Taking into account the nature of allegations, punishment prescribed and the period of custody, this Court directs the petitioner to be released on bail on terms to be fixed by the Court in seisin over the matter.

6.

Additionally it is directed that the petitioner shall appear before the jurisdictional police station once every week till submission of final P.R.

7.

Accordingly, the BLAPL stands disposed of.
