This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

The petitioner is accused in Jeypore Town P.S. Case No.88 of 2022 corresponding to G.R. Case No.369 of 2022, pending before the Court of learned S.D.J.M., Jeypore, Koraput, under Sections 457/380 of IPC.

Being aggrieved by the Rejection of his application for bail U/s.439 Cr.P.C. by the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Jeypore, by order dated 02.08.2022 in the aforementioned case, the present BLAPL has been filed.

Considering that charge-sheet has already been filed in the meanwhile and keeping in view the nature of allegations and the punishment prescribed, this Court directs the petitioner to be released on bail on terms to be fixed by the Court in seisin over the matter.

Keeping in view the criminal proclivity of the petitioner, it is directed that the petitioner shall appear before the jurisdictional police station once every week till conclusion of trial. The first date and time of such appearance shall be fixed by the Court in seisin over the matter.

Accordingly, the BLAPL stands disposed of.
