Heard Mr. B. Tripathy, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. D.K. Mohanty, learned Additional Standing Counsel. 2.

According to Mr. B. Tripathy, the petitioner is aggrieved by the manner in which authorities are acting in connection with her complaint, which has resulted in registration of Chandrasekharpur P.S. Case No. 167 of 11.05.2022. He submits that though a perusal of the F.I.R. would reveal commission of offences under Sections294/377/313/307 of the I.P.C., however, the F.I.R. has not been registered for commission of such offences. Lastly, he submits that though highlighting all her grievances, the petitioner has moved the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Bhubaneswar (Opposite Party No.2) by filing a grievance petition dtd. 30.06.2022 under Annexure-2 sent though Speed Post on the same day. however, till date nothing has been done on the same. In such background, he prays that a direction be issued to the Opposite Party No.2 to take a decision on the above noted grievance petition of the petitioner within a specific time period.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Bhubaneswar (Opposite Party No.2) to take decision on the grievance petition dtd. 30.06.2022 of the petitioner under Annexure-2 in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of production of certified copy of this order and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner. 4.

The CRLMP is accordingly disposed of.
