This matter is taken up through virtual/physical mode. 1.

The petitioner is stated to have availed a Home Loan for a sum of Rs.7 Lakhs under the Staff Welfare Scheme on 01.04.2012 from UCO Bank, Paiktigiria Branch, District-Khurda.

Due to non-deposit of installments, the loan account was classified as NPA on 31.01.2016, leading to issuance of Demand Notice dated 09.06.2016 under Section 13(2) of the SARFAESI Act, 2002 (for short "the Act, 2002") recalling the outstanding liability of Rs.8,72,690/- as also assuming symbolic possession of the mortgaged house on 08.09.2016 under Section 13 (4) of the Act, 2002.

2. At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner prays for permission to withdraw the writ petition.
