1. Heard Mr. A.R. Panda, learned counsel for the Petitioner as well as Mr. K. Das, learned Additional Standing Counsel for the State-Opposite Party.
2. The Petitioner seeks extension of the interim bail on the ground of illness of his mother.
3. Upon hearing both the parties and considering the submissions, the interim bail granted to the Petitioner by order dated 24.08.2022 is extended till 3rd January, 2023.
4. It is made clear that the Petitioner shall surrender in the trial court on or before 3rd January, 2023, failing which learned trial court shall take appropriate steps including issuance of NBW of arrest to apprehend him.
5. The I.A. is disposed of.
6. An urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
