This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual/Physical Mode).

This is an application under Section 439 Cr.P.C. filed by the Petitioner for bail in connection with Jujumura P.S. Case No.135 of 2020, corresponding to Special G.R. Case No.423 of 2020 pending in the file of learned Adhoc Additional District & Sessions Judge, Special Court FTSC, POCSO Act, Sambalpur, for commission of alleged offences under Sections 376(2)(n)/506/376(2)(I) I.P.C. read with Section 6 of POCSO Act.

Heard learned counsel for both the parties. Perused the case records.

Considering the nature and gravity of offences alleged against the Petitioner, this Court is not inclined to release the Petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the bail application of the Petitioner stands rejected. However, this Court directs the trial court to make an endeavor to expedite the trial of the case and conclude the same

// 2 // preferably within a period of four months from the date of this order. Liberty is also granted to the Petitioner to renew his prayer in the event the trial of the case is not completed within the stipulated time. .
