Heard Mr. R.K. Sahoo, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. D.K. Mohanty, learned Additional Standing Counsel. 2.

According to Mr. Sahoo, the petitioner is aggrieved by the inaction of the authorities more particularly, the Tahasildar, Narsinghpur (opposite party No.3) in disposing of the application of the petitioner for issuance of caste certificate in her favour though such application was duly acknowledged by the authorities by issuing form of acknowledgement under Annexure-3. He further submits that though as per the form of acknowledgement, the caste certificate should have been issued to the petitioner by 21.07.2022 but till date, no final decision has been taken on her application. In such background, he prays that a direction be issued to the Tahasildar, Narsinghpur (opposite party No.3) to dispose of the above noted application within a specific time period.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on merits of the case, this writ petition is

// 2 // disposed of with a direction to the Tahasildar, Narsinghpur (opposite party No.3) to make all endeavours to dispose of the above noted application of the petitioner for issuance of caste certificate registered as E-STO/2022/447544 in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order, if there is no other impediment. 4.

Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
