This matter is taken up through Video Conferencing Mode.

Heard Mr. Nayak, learned counsel for the Petitioner and Mr. Dhal, learned AGA 3.

According to Mr. Nayak, the Petition is aggrieved by the inaction of Opposite Parties in evaluating and determining the actual value of structures and trees standing on the land which has been acquired for the purpose of construction of railway line in connection with Talcher-Bimalagrh new B.G. Rail Link Project, Angul.

In course of hearing, he submits that though highlighting his grievances the Petitioner had approached the Collector, Angul-Opposite Party No.2 by filing a representation dated 6th November, 2019 under Annexure-4 for getting the benefits under the Odisha Resettlement and Rehabilitation Policy, 2006, however, till date nothing has been done. Accordingly, he prays that a direction may be made to Opposite Party No.2 to dispose

// 2 // of the above noted representation within a specified time. 5.

Considering the submission made, this Court without expressing any opinion on merit of the case, directs the Collector, Angul-Opposite Party No.2 to take a decision on the above noted representation under Annexure-4 in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the result of such exercise to the Petitioner.

With the aforesaid direction the writ petition is disposed of.

As the restrictions due to resurgence of COVID-19 situation are continuing, learned counsel for the parties may utilize a printout of the order available in the High Court's website, at par with certified copy, subject to attestation by the concerned advocate, in the manner prescribed vide Court's Notice No.4587 dated 25th March, 2020, modified by Notice No.4798 dated 15th April, 2021, and Court's Office Order circulated vide Memo Nos.514 and 515 dated 7th January, 2022.
