This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

The petitioner is an accused in Pipili P.S. Case No.151 of 2022 corresponding to Special G.R. Case No.244 of 2022, pending in the file of learned J.M.F.C., Pipili, under Section 394 of IPC. 4.

Being aggrieved by the Rejection of his application for bail U/s.439 Cr.P.C. by the learned 2nd Additional Sessions Judge, Puri, by order dated 05.07.2022 in the aforementioned case, the present BLAPL has been filed.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the basis of implication is on account of co-accused statement. Hence it is submitted that since investigation has progressed substantially, further continuance of the petitioner in custody is not warranted.

Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail.

Taking into account the age of the petitioner and basis of implication, this Court directs the petitioner to be released on bail on such terms to be fixed by the Court in seisin over the matter, including that the petitioner shall appear before the jurisdictional police station once every week till submission of final form. 8.

Accordingly, the BLAPL stands disposed of.
