Mr. B.B. Choudhury, learned counsel for the petitioner files a translated copy of Page-25 of the brief along with a memo. The same be kept on record.

Heard Mr. B.B. Choudhury, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. H.M. Dhal, learned Additional Government Advocate.

According to Mr. Choudhury, the petitioner, who is a lady and a senior citizen is aggrieved by the tardy manner in which investigation is going on in connection with Pipili P.S. Case No. 135, dated 26.03.2022 registered for commission of offences under Sections-341/323/294/379/506, I.P.C. He further submits that a number of cases are pending against the accused person in the State as well as outside the State.

During course of hearing, Mr. Choudhury submits that the liberty may be granted to the petitioner to approach the Superintendent of Police, Puri (Opposite Party No.3) for redressal

of her grievances by filing a grievance petition and further prays that the said Opposite Party be directed to take a decision on such motion within a stipulated time period.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court grants liberty to the petitioner to approach the Superintendent of Police, Puri (Opposite Party No.3) by filing a grievance petition along with a certified copy of this order through Registered Post within a period of two weeks from today. In the event such a petition is filed before the Opposite Party No.3, the said Opposite Party is directed to take a decision on the same in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of such grievance petition and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner. 6.

The CRLMP is accordingly disposed of.
