This matter is taken up through virtual/physical mode. 2.

The Petitioner is stated to be the widowed daughter of the principal borrower of a loan facility availed from UCO Bank, which upon financial indiscipline has reached the stage of auction sale of the collateral security fixed for 29th August, 2022 towards recovery of the outstanding liability to the tune of more than Rs.20.00 lakhs.

By filing the present writ petition, the prayer being made is for directing the secured creditor/UCO bank, Damapara Branch in the district of Cuttack to accept the reserved price of the property being put to auction on 29th August, 2022 and thereby issue a sale certificate. 4.

After hearing learned counsel for the Petitioner, we find that the present writ petition is wholly devoid of any merit.

The Petitioner has no locus standi to claim this kind of relief prayed for. That apart, the Petitioner is free to

// 2 // participate in the auction proceedings, if so advised, towards satisfying the prayer made in the present writ petition. 5.
