Instant I.A. is filed by the petitioner for extension of time for the petitioner to surrender before the learned court below which expired on 31st July, 2023 on the grounds stated therein. 3.

Mr. Jena, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was proceeding to the court below to surrender but on the way, he fell sick and was admitted to hospital and in the meantime, has been advised to take rest for a week. 4.

However, in course of hearing, Mr. Jena, learned counsel for the petitioner prays for a specific date for the petitioner to surrender before the Court below on any day after tomorrow. 5.

Objection of Mr. Babu, learned AGA for the State is recorded.

Having regard to the submissions of the learned counsel for the respective parties and the fact that the petitioner for the reason stated could not surrender within the time stipulated, the Court is of

the view that he should be allowed to surrender on or before 10th August, 2023. It is made clear that no further extension shall be allowed hereafter.

Consequently, the I.A. stands disposed of.

Urgent copy of this order be issued as per rules and in course of the Day.
