Mr.J.Katikia, learned Additional Government Advocate appearing for the State - opposite parties has placed a written instruction from the IIC, Sadar P.S., Dhenkanal, wherefrom it surfaces that the victim girl (name withheld for protection of identity) has been rescued from the State of Tamil Nadu. Her statement under Section 164 Cr.P.C. has been recorded by the concerned Court and the victim girl has been produced before the Child Welfare Committee (CWC), Dhenkanal for her safe custody. 3.

In view of this development, the Petition has become infructuous and hence, the same is disposed of. 4.

The petitioner may approach the Child Welfare Committee (CWC), Dhenkanal for taking custody of the victim girl.
