Mr. S.R. Das, learned counsel for the petitioners files an affidavit in Court today. The same is taken on record. 2.

Heard Mr. Das, learned counsel for the petitioners and Mr. D.K. Mohanty, learned Additional Standing Counsel. 3.

According to Mr. Das, the sole grievance of the petitioners relates to non-disposal of NHLA Case No.02 of 2019 pending before the learned District Judge, Sundargarh for deciding the issue relating to apportionment of compensation as contemplated under Section 3(H)(4) of the National Highways Act, 1956. In such background, he prays that a direction be issued to the learned District Judge, Sundargarh to dispose of the above noted case within a stipulated time period. 4.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion of the merits of the case, this writ

// 2 // petition is disposed of with a direction to the learned District Jude, Sundargarh to make all endeavours to dispose of the above noted case in accordance with law within a period of nine months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order, if there is no other impediment.
