Heard Mr. A.C. Behera, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. D.K. Mohanty, learned Additional Standing Counsel. 2.

According to Mr. Behera, the petitioner is aggrieved by the action of the authorities in making forcible use of Ac.2.060 decimal of his land covered by Plot Nos. 393 and 391/474 pertaining to Khata No.71/60 under Mouza-Banbahal in the district of Bolangir for constructing bridge and road under P.M.G.S.Y without paying any compensation. He further submits that though highlighting his grievances, the petitioner has submitted a grievance petition on 30.06.2022 to the Collector, Bolangir (opposite party No.5) though registered post under Annexure-8 series however, till date no decision has been taken on such petition. In such background, he prays that that a direction be issued to the Collector, Bolangir to take a decision on the above noted grievance petition within a specific time period.

Considering the submissions made and without

// 2 // expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs the Collector, Bolangir to take a decision on the above noted grievance petition of the petitioner under Annexure-8 series in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order, if in the meantime, the same has not been disposed of and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner. 4.

Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of. 5.

Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application in course of the day.
