This matter is taken up by video conferencing mode. 2.

Heard Mr. A. Suhail, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr. H.M. Dhal, learned Additional Government Advocate and Mr. T. Mishra, learned counsel representing opposite party No.5.

According to Mr. Suhail, learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner is aggrieved by inaction of the authorities in extending her the benefits of Orissa Resettlement and Rehabilitation Policy, 2006. He further submits that though highlighting all her grievances the petitioner has filed a representation dated 19.2.2021 before Collector, Kalahandi (opposite party No.2) under Annexure-6, however, till date nothing has been done in the matter. In such background, he prays that a direction be issued to opposite party No.2 to take a decision on the above representation under Annexure-6 within a specific time period.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs the Collector, Kalahandi (opposite party No.2) to take a decision on the above noted representation under Annexure-6 in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner. 5.

The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. 6.

Issue urgent certified copy as per rules.
