This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

The grievance of the Petitioner in this writ petition is with regard to inaction of Opposite Party Nos. 2 to 4 in installing a Transformer and supplying electricity to his Lift Irrigation Point situated at Gopalpur, Hatadihi under Biju Grama Jyoti Scheme.

Mr. Mishra, learned Additional Standing Counsel, on instruction, submits that before filing of the writ petition, the Transformer had already been installed in the month of July, 2022. However, the Petitioner has to make an Online application for supply of electricity to his Lift Irrigation Point, which can be considered by Opposite Party Nos.3 to 5. 4.

Mr. Dash, learned counsel for TPNODL submits that the Petitioner has not made any application as yet for supply of electricity to his Lift Irrigation Point. He further submits that

// 2 // the Petitioner has no infrastructure for supply of electricity to his Lift Irrigation Point.

In view of the submissions made by learned counsel for the parties, this Court is of the considered opinion that since the Transformer has already been installed, the Petitioner has to make an application for supply of electricity to his Lift Irrigation Point following due procedure of law. The Petitioner has also to make the infrastructure before making application for supply of electricity to his Lift Irrigation Point. 6.

With the aforesaid observation, this writ petition is disposed of.

Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
