Heard Mr. S.K.Singh, learned counsel for Petitioner and Mr. R.N.Mishra, learned Addl. Government Advocate for the State-Opposite Parties.

The present Writ Petition has been filed with the following prayer:- "(i) In view of the above stated acts and circumstances, this Hon'ble Court may graciously be pleased to issue Rule Nisi calling upon the opp. parties to show cause as to why necessary directions shall not be issued to regularize the service of the petitioner in the post of Pharmacist lying vacant in sub-jail, Padampur in the district of Bargarh with all consequential service benefits;
(ii) And if the Opp. Parties failed to show cause or show insufficient cause this Hon'ble Court may make the said rule absolute by issuing a writ of mandamus directing the Opp. Parties to regularize the services of the Petitioner in the post of Pharmacist lying vacant in Sub-Jail, Padampur in the district of Bararh with all consequential service benefits".

He further submits that through highlighting his
// 2 // grievances, the petitioner has filed a representation on 26.12.2021 at Annexure-5 to the Writ Petition, before the opposite party No.2 but till date nothing has been done in the matter. In such background, he prays that a direction be issued to opposite party No.2 to take a decision on the above noted petition within a specific time period. 5.
Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs opposite party No.2 to take a decision on the above noted petition in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of production of certified copy of this order and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner.
6. With the aforesaid observation and direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of.
