This matter is taken up through hybrid arrangement Order No.
(Virtual/physical mode).

This is the successive journey of the petitioner, who is in custody in connection with Sohela P.S. Case No.29 of 2016 corresponding to C.T. Case No.18/143 of 2016 pending in the court of the learned Additional Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Bargarh running for the alleged commission of offence under sections 376(2)(f)(i) of the I.P.C. read with section 6 of the POCSO Act has filed this application under section 439, Cr.P.C. for his release on bail.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the State.

Considering the submissions made and keeping in view the nature of accusations against the petitioner as those emanate
// 2 // from the materials on record as well as the surrounding circumstances, while being not inclined to reconsider the prayer for grant of bail to the Petitioner, this application is disposed of with the observation that the trial court would do well to take all the effective steps for early conclusion of the trial in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of three months hence.

The BLAPL is accordingly dismissed.
