This matter is taken up by virtual/physical mode. 2.

The Petitioner approached this Court pointing out that the order dated 2nd March, 2021 passed in W.A No. 178 of 2021(arising out of order dated 21st January, 2021 passed by learned Single Judge in W.P (C) No. 37722 of 2020) has not yet been complied with.

By setting aside order dated 21st January, 2021 in aforesaid writ petition, the Division Bench of this Court vide order dated 2nd March, 2021 directed the Collector, Balasore -Respondent No.2 to consider the representation filed on 6th February, 2020 with regard to creation of 'Gudupahi Grama Panchyat' in the district of Balasore keeping in view the population, geographical location and natural barrier of the village. This Court further directed to

// 2 // complete the above exercise as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three months from the date of production of a copy of said order.

This Court vide order dated 2nd Mach, 2021 directed the learned Additional Government Advocate to obtain instructions. 5.

Accordingly, the compliance affidavit sworn to by the Collector and District Magistrate, Balasore has come to be filed, wherein copy of order dated 12th November, 2021 has been enclosed. Perusal of said order shows the Collector, Balasore has disposed of the representation of the Petitioner on 12th November, 2021.

This Court finds no deliberate negligence in disposing of the representation belatedly. Hence, the contempt proceeding is dropped.
