Heard Mr. Rout, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Nanda, learned Additional Government Advocate. 2.

According to Mr. Rout, the petitioner is aggrieved by the manner in which investigation is going on in connection with Anandpur P.S. Case No.143 of 2022 registered for commission of offences under Sections 452/294/323/325/379/506/34 of I.P.C. He further submits that though highlighting all his grievances, the petitioner has approached the Superintendent of Police, Keonjhar (opposite party No.3) by submitting a grievance petition dated 16.08.2022 under Annexure-2 series through registered post, however, till date nothing has been done in the matter. In such background, he prays that a direction be issued to the Superintendent of Police, Keonjhar to take a decision on the grievance petition of the petitioner within a specific time period.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court

// 2 // directs the Superintendent of Police, Keonjhar to take a decision on the grievance petition dated 16.08.2022 of the petitioner under Annexure-2 series in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order, if in the meantime, the same has not been disposed of and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner. 4.

Accordingly, this CRLMP is disposed of.

Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
