This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

The petitioner is accused in G.R. Case No.268 of 2022 corresponding to Purushottampur P.S. Case No.287 of 2022, pending on the file of learned J.M.F.C., Purushottampur, for alleged commission of offences under Section 420 of IPC read with Section 66(D) of I.T. Act.

Being aggrieved by the Rejection of his application for bail U/s.439 Cr.P.C. by the learned Additional District & Sessions Judge, Chatrapur, Ganjam, by order dated 06.08.2022 in the aforementioned case, the present BLAPL has been filed. 5.
Taking into account the nature of allegations and keeping in view the filing of charge-sheet, this Court directs the petitioner to be released on bail on such terms to be fixed by the Court in seisin over the matter.

It is stated by the learned counsel for the State on instructions that an amount of Rs.28,000/-(Rupees twenty eight thousand) has been fraudulently deposited in the account of the present petitioner.

Additionally it is directed that the petitioner shall furnish cash security to the tune of Rs.20,000/-(Rupees twenty thousand), which shall be kept in short term interest bearing account pledged in favour of the Court in seisin over the matter. 8.
Accordingly, the BLAPL stands disposed of.
