This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

2.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned counsel for the State.

The petitioners are accused in G.R. (GN) Case No.343 of 2022 corresponding to Ramachandrapur P.S. Case No.158 of 2022, pending on the file of learned Nyayadhikari Gram Nayalaya, Ghasipura, for alleged commission of offences under Sections 279/294/323/394/506/34 of IPC.

Being aggrieved by the Rejection of their application for bail U/s.439 Cr.P.C. by the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Anandapur, by order dated 17.08.2022 in the aforementioned case, the present BLAPL has been filed.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submit that since admittedly charge-sheet has already been filed in the case at hand, their further continuance in custody is uncalled for.

Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail inter alia on the ground that the petitioners have criminal antecedents of similar nature.

Taking not of the period of custody since 23.07.2022 and filing of charge-sheet on 05.08.2022, this Court directs the petitioners to be released on bail on such terms to be fixed by the Court in seisin over the matter.

Additionally it is directed that the petitioners shall appear before the jurisdictional police station once every week till conclusion of trial.

Accordingly, the BLAPL stands disposed of.
